MariGlue is a Colombian DJ based in Amsterdam. She grew up in Bogotá surrounded by Latin and tropical music and she still loves dancing to it. Her sets mix nostalgic originals and new discoveries from the alternative side of Latin American and tropical sounds: cumbia, champeta, salsa, Afro-Colombian rhythms and other folkloric music from Colombia and Latin America, with Caribbean and African influences. She also has a soft spot for the growing wave of electronic music inspired by this folklore, where producers and artists draw from ancestral and traditional sounds to create something that feels both rooted and alive.
She cares a lot about curating a vibe she herself would love to hear and dance to. Behind the decks, staying connected to the people on the floor matters to her, she wants to feel part of the dancing together with everyone else, not separate from it. Expect music to chill to in the sun, with breezy and groovy moments that slowly warm you up or suddenly make you move.
