Carmela Collective is an emerging collaborative group of culture makers from Mexico, Chile, and Colombia who have migrated to The Netherlands, and whose purpose is to create meaningful encounters that celebrate and share the richness of Latin American diversity with local, migrant, and international communities in The Netherlands.

Tresdé

Tresdé, a visual artist, filmmaker and selector. With her SadPink sessions she creates a dreamy & melancholic sonic experience infused with her memories growing up in Cali, Colombia to the sounds of salsa, cumbia, chucucú. Tapping into the nostalgia of yearning for echoes of the mountains, as a now migrant in the flatlands.

Ukab

Ukab is a curator and DJ part of Carmela Collective and other projects like Cumbia Noord Collective. He will bring his selections of Cumbia pirata, cumbia rebajadas and Kumbia con K for this edition of Radio Chenin going back to back with Paulah curator, DJ, selector and owner of the project Nofutureberlin, a label that focuses on pushing the diaspora especially latin american diaspora into the scene.
