House has always been a feeling for Aron Friedman, who has played an active role in the Dutch electronic music scene for the last twenty-five years; as an artist, promoter, journalist and copywriter. He has performed at many renowned clubs and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad, has released a string of EPs and remixes (ao. as Spaceandtime, together with Mathew Jonson), and has written for leading music publications like VICE, ResidentAdvisor and DJMag. As an artist and a journalist, Aron Friedman likes to dig deeper, uncovering some of the most enchanting gems and remarkable stories.
Behind the decks, Aron aims to move you physically, mentally and spiritually. Instead of limiting himself to one specific genre, each DJ-set is a surprising journey through a lifetime of crate digging and dance floor dedication. As a promoter, Aron keeps his finger on the pulse of the city’s vibrant underground by offering a platform to many upcoming artists. He co-runs several successful parties: Confetteria, Amsterdam’s longest running and most glamorous NYD celebration; De Druppel, an illegal rave and a homage to the free party scene; and his newest Sunday day party at Benelux Bar – together with San Francisco pioneer Galen – called Hazy Days.
