João Vedana is a Multi-Instrumentalist and singer from Brasil. The guitar has been of great of importance in his life since the age of 9 and ever since the development never stopped. At 15 years old he started his professional career playing blues heavily inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan , BB King and George Benson. Later on he released two original albums, João Vedana (2017) recorded in Brasil and Despertar (2022) recorded in The Netherlands via the Jazz Label Zennez Records, and has also worked as a sideman musician for many different projects. Now with 31 years old and after almost 8 years since moving to The Netherlands he lives in Rotterdam and plays concerts and festivals all over the country and also hosts Jam sessions occasionally. You can expect a strong load of Brazilian, Latin, Jazz and Funk influences on his music fueled by fiery solos, transcending grooves and spontaneous improvisation.
