Nadia Innocentia

Nadia Innocentia is a costume and avant-garde fashion designer, performance artist, and maker whose practice investigates fashion as a living, experiential, and relational medium. Through interactive performances, embodied experiences, and sensory-driven interventions, she creates encounters that challenge perceptions of identity, beauty, value, and social conventions.

Her work uses the body as both material and meeting point a place where personal stories, social expectations, and collective imagination intersect. By combining costume, scent, ritual, and participation, Innocentia creates immersive situations that invite audiences to become active participants rather than passive observers. Her performances explore the tension between attraction and discomfort, intimacy and distance, individuality and belonging.

For the Beeldenroute, Innocentia will present an interactive performance at the Bon Bon Vivant area, where chocolate becomes a medium for exploring identity, intimacy, and sensory memory. She will create personalized chocolate perfumes based on the unique body scent of each participant, transforming something deeply personal and invisible into a sensory artwork. Through this playful ritual of scent, taste, and transformation, visitors become the inspiration and material of the piece leaving with a chocolate creation that reflects their own presence. The performance invites audiences to reconsider the relationship between the body, desire, chocolate, and the ways we experience ourselves and others.
