Northern Roots – body, nature & connection

This workshop is for you if you feel a connection to nature, your body, or your roots – but also a sense of disconnection, silence, or something that was never passed on.

In many northern cultures, including Sámi traditions, the core was not a single ritual but a relationship with the land, the body, and rhythm. In this workshop, we don’t try to reconstruct lost traditions, but instead create space where your own connection can begin to re-emerge.

We work with breath, body, sound, and natural elements – listening to the nervous system and building a sense of safety. Inspiration may come from practices like Joiku, not as performance, but as a natural extension of the breath.

In the workshop, we will:

No prior experience is needed – you participate from your own boundaries.
