YEKUMI is an Electro-Ethnic duo that creates a complete live performance of electronic music production on the spot, masterfully woven together with live playing of multiple ethnical instruments- didgeridoo, oud, bouzouki, trumpet, flute, handpan, darbuka and ney. they strive to capture the essence of the moment and through melody and rhythm turn it into a dance journey between the sounds.
The live act is a ceremony, in which the creators take the listener on a journey with them, starting at a point, where between all the powerful forces of nature, there is something very small and intimate within each of us, A sound, A frequency, in which each of us moves, pure energy recognizable within us. And with it embark on a journey of connection to ourselves, into that basic power we have within and with us, and let it lead us into the movement, A dance or A smile, to the realms of mountains, streams, winds, rains, fire, solar & lunar energy, and while letting go, let the pure energy within lead us freely.
