Origins: Krien & Merante create ritualistic, interdisciplinary art experiences at the intersection of performance, music, poetry, nature, and myth. The Heroine’s Journey is an immersive, theatrical ceremony, inspired by and based on the mythic Hero’s Journey, as described by Joseph Campbell, and is performed in 7 chapters. Become a fellow traveler on a journey that takes you from your home grounds into the wide world and its temptations, through the ‘dark night of the soul’, to emerge wiser from it.
For Landjuweel 2026 Origins: Krien & Merante will work together with very exciting collaborating artists: the mystical Gurdjieff Quartet, ritualist Myrgon, captivating sarangi player Vincent Swierstra and aroma jockey Odo7, who will accompany the heroine on her journey.
