A somatic dance experience of ancestral rhythm and Earth reconnection
Rootedance is not just a dance class — it is a ritual in motion. A space of deep, free movement where the body becomes drum, root, and prayer.
This performative practice awakens the senses, inviting the body to be explored as a living territory of memory and transformation. Inspired by Afro and Latin rhythms, Rootedance unfolds as a guided sensory journey where inner pulses are awakened, energy centers are activated, and the sacred bond with the Earth is restored.
More than a technique, Rootedance is a safe container for self-exploration. Music and movement serve as sacred tools through which each participant is invited to inhabit their body, breathe deeply, and remember themselves as part of the living pulse of the planet. It is dance — but also release, prayer, and rebirth.
Designed for physical theatre festivals, somatic laboratories and interdisciplinary performance spaces, Rootedance bridges tribal rhythm with inner awareness, activating a collective embodied experience that reclaims the body as home and temple.
Estimated duration: 75–90 minutes
