L.A. SAGNE. It fizzes, it screams, it holds dear, and when it starts, it makes everything move.
Are you still allowed to say in an official biography that a band is just a group of friends? No. But also you don’t need to. You can hear it in every song. Friends? Yes. but the kind you wouldn’t want showing up unannounced at your mom’s birthday party.
How they met is none of your business. Just be glad they did.
Or not, if you don’t like punk.
Anyway! 2025 was a good year for L.A. Sagne. Festivals like Eurosonic/Noorderslag (NL), Trans Musicales (FR) and Best Kept Secret (NL), a club tour in the Netherlands and Belgium and many other places and people all got what they deserved. Three booking agencies (Friendly Fire – NL, Live Nation – BE, and Persona Grata – FR) joined in. And as you read this, the band just finished recording their debut album 'Good Company' which will be out on March 27th 2026 accompanied by a club tour through The Netherlands and Belgium.
Their upcoming album ‘Good Company’ feels like a collection of punk manifestos about generational frustration, community, seemingly unattainable dreams, failing systems, frantic love, hope, and sometimes simply the need to not worry about any of that for a moment. Musically, the band continues to build on their own definition of the punk genre. The tracklist ranges from lightning-fast, explosive songs to bossy mid-tempo bangers, played with a ton of bulldozer energy and sheer fun. That really goes to show on the latest singles ‘I’m a Girl’, 'I Paint Walls', ‘Rampage’ and ‘Rain On My Skin’. L.A. Sagne wipes the floor with your expectations and shows a variety of sounds that is just the tip of the album's iceberg.
During their live shows, the shared experience of L.A. Sagne truly comes to life. A concert by the band feels like a temporary community, where people keep each other on their feet and go wild without any judgment. After three songs, you're part of it and you’ll feel the world just as L.A. Sagne feels it. "Go be fucking nice to someone!" Tara chants, and when she tells you to, you just do it.
2026 will kick off with a showcase at Eurosonic festival, followed up by the release of more music leading towards the big debut album drop on March 27 and a clubtour in The Netherlands and Belgium: Roodkapje (April 11), ACU (April 14), Eureka (April 16), Badlands Ghent (April 18), Paradiso (April 25), TRIX (April 29), and Vera (May 9). L.A. Sagne will also return to France for multiple shows in 2026 to promote their new album. Good Company will be released via Geertruida Label.
Well, well. Go on then. Chug that drink and dive in.
