AWICHAS is a music project initiated by Bolivian/Brazilian artist and performer Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti. AWICHAS draws from Andean ritual from Ibelisse’s birthplace Bolivia. Where she took recordings and data from these journeys and worked with sound artist and musician Jochem van Tol to translate them into electronic music.
During Landjuweel they will share a collection of Andean & Latinx electronic heavy DJ set. A combination of their original AWICHAS compositions and many other Latinx artists. Expect a danceable, grounding and full of joy set.
