Woven Voices is ontstaan uit liefde. Liefde voor het samenbrengen van mensen en allen de ruimte geven voor hun uitingen. Wat er overblijft is een beeldschoon kunstwerk.
Woven Voices, the proud creation of Lex Empress, begins in the first day of Landjuweel. Each day participants are invited to write intentions, dreams and visions for our future, for the children, for the world. These words are painted onto cotton and woven together into one collective carpet. A living artwork made from many voices becoming one. Everyone can join and become part of this shared creation. By the end of the festival the carpet stands as a physical memory of our united prayers and possibilities.
